Created by our skilled designers in close collaboration with the world famous art restorer Daniele Rossi, this exclusive color palette features fabrics that will make you feel the embrace and walk along the multicolored paths of maestro Jacopo.
Our colors, fabrics and patterns have always told ever changing stories born from the fusion of italian tradition and creative innovation.
In line with the Kaizen philosophy we keep confronting new challenges to overcome ourselves and what we have achieved so far.
We therefore decided to carry out a detailed research on colors to create the distinctive nuances of our Collection AW22, meant to set the tone for the unique vibes of our exclusive textures, patterns and colors.
Specifically, for the creation of the color family featured in our Blended fabrics our designers closely collaborated with the italian restorer Daniele Rossi, specialized in restoration of ancient paints and frescos.
This encounter of highly artistic and creative minds has generated an amazing synergy and cooperation, which has resulted in the creation of this exclusive color palette.

The colors animating these fabrics were carefully selected from “The Carmignano Visitation” by Pontormo. UV fluorescence was used to analyze Pontormo’s pigments in order to accurately reproduce the shades and nuances of this wonderful painting on our exclusive fabrics.
It is no small task to faithfully replicate the desired Renaissance colors nuances while avoiding using hazardous chemicals in the making of dyes. Moreover, color matching is essential but hard to ensure due to the wide variety of lights we are exposed to in our everyday life.
That’s why we employ a double quality control process in our lab using a lightbox to match colors and shades under different light sources, such as UV light.
COLLABORATIONS
Pontormo is one of the most original and extraordinary artists belonging to the Mannerism current, and his extremely personal style is perfectly represented by this famous painting.
But artworks age, change over time and therefore require special care and attention.
The fine art of restoration is often unknown to the public at large, while the important contribution of this careful process should deserve specific attention.
That’s where the work of Daniele Rossi came in.
The italian restorer Daniele Rossi recently brought this painting back to its former glory by carefully returning it to its original splendour.
